She is the author of the Pre-Publishing Checklist, “The Rotting” (in Shivers in the Night), The Suicide Tree, The 10 Commandments of Author Branding, All the Things I Should’ve Told You, and “Savage Indulgence.”
In her not-so-free time, she studies all things true crime and obsesses over squirrels. She lives in Oklahoma with her husband and three fur babies.

5 Fun Facts
Living in Oklahoma since birth, she has experienced many frightful events, such as the Oklahoma City Bombing, the May 3, 1999 EF-5 tornado (world’s deadliest tornado), and the May 20, 2013 EF-5 tornado.
She started writing The Suicide Tree in Pensacola Beach, Florida at a coffee shop called the Drowsy Poet, which is featured in the novel.
She has eaten raw oysters, caviar, alligator, octopus, escargot, and calf fries. But her favorite meal is chicken fried steak smothered in gravy.
A fireplace once exploded on her and gave her second-degree burns, which is why you’ll see that lovely little red scar on her left cheek.
Her lifelong dream is to own a two-story private library full of rare and first-edition books.
